New ITR Filing Started (AY)2023-2024
April 1, 2023, marks the start of the new financial year 2023-24. Taxpayers must file their income tax returns by July 31 for the financial year 2022-23. However, salaried individuals might have to wait till June second week as employers are expected to generate Form 16 for Assessment Year 2023-24 around that time.
